The remodeling of our Dōjō began in October 2011. In March 2012, thanks to the help of all our students, we completed the installation of the new floor, as well as the tachi machiwara and sagi machiwara. And a special thanks to the Budō Shuren Dōjō for their support and welcoming us into their martial arts center.

Ceiling Hooks

We drilled very strong hooks into the ceilling in order to hang the sagi machiwara or punching bags. Of course, we tested the strength of the hooks.

Lunch Break

And then we needed a short lunch break.

Nafuda

In every traditional Dōjō the names of the students are written on wooden tablets called "Nafuda".
