Every year the German-Japanese Society of Augsburg and Swabia organizes the Japanese Spring Festival (Japanisches Frühlingsfest) at the Botanical Garden in Augsburg. This event is a celebration of Japanese culture, food, music, as well as a series of martial arts demonstrations. The Shinjinbukan Augsburg Dōjō participated in this event along with several other martial arts schools located in the Augsburg area. More than 5000 people attended the 2012 Japanese Spring Festival.
