ルドビク・ソレル - 経歴

Ludovic Soler − Biographical Note

Ludovic Soler started learning karate in 1987, at the age of 14, practicing Shotokan at a Dōjō in Lyon.  At about the same time he also started Judō and French Boxing in order to complement his martial arts training.  Ludovic Soler obtained a Sho Dan in Shotokan karate and at the age of 26, he moved to Paris for professional reasons, where his curiosity led him to experience various other disciplines: Shaolin Kung Fu, Taï Chi Chuan, and Penchak Silat.

Due to a job transfer to Bastia (Corsica, France), Ludovic Soler spent several years practicing karate with Hidetoshi Nakahashi Sensei, 9th dan Shito Ryū.  At the same time, he developed an interest in Shorin Ryū Shinjinbukan.

Upon his return to Lyon, he met Jimmy Mora Sensei and Jean-Marie Perrier Sensei during the 2010 Winter Gasshuku (January 2010), and started training under their direction.

Mr. Soler met Onaga Yoshimitsu Sensei at the Summer Gasshuku in Riga, Latvia (August 2010), and decided from that point on to follow the way of Shorin Ryū Shinjinbukan.

In May 2012, Ludovic Soler visited the Honbu Dōjō in Okinawa to train for three weeks and learn from Onaga Yoshimitsu Kaichō.  On this occasion, Ludovic Soler received his Sho Dan / 1st Dan (1st Degree Black Belt) from the Shinjinbukan School. Mr. Soler was promoted to Ni Dan / 2nd Dan in August 2014. These certificates were awarded by Onaga Yoshimitsu Kaichō in Okinawa, Japan.  For reference, see Credentials (Certificates)
